I know it’s a pathetic cliche, but…
I wish I was dead.
I don’t even know how to deal with this anymore and it just never stops.

I don’t know if this is caused by my CFS/fibro, but recently (for about two months) I’ve had this weird feeling sort of in my throat and eyes.
You know when you’re trying not to cry and it makes your throat get that weird kind of sore feeling and your eyes feel like you’re holding back tears? Well, I have that for increasingly long periods. And I am not upset about anything.
It is starting to drive me crazy. It’s hard to even concentrate.
Does anyone else get that or have ANY idea what it could be??
| Me: | I want to be productive today. |
| Body: | lol nope. |
| Doctor: | Your BP is 82 over 50. |
| Me: | Oh. Sorry. |
I WILL NOT use the wheelchair. I just want to be free since this is the only realy sunny day for ages and the only ‘holiday’ all year.
Going to a village I love with a tiny shopping street and quaint little shops and coffee shops and just WOOHOO!!!
Things to do today: Get up, survive, go back to bed.

Every now and then, it’s like my vocal cords spasm and an involuntary puff of air goes past them and makes a vocal sound that sounds like a word. It’s like my throat makes me ‘speak’ involuntarily and the sound comes from my throat instead of my mouth.
It makes me self-conscious because I don’t know when it will happen. It’s bad enough if I’m speaking, because it sounds like a stutter, but when I wasn’t even talking in the first place, I sound like I have a vocal tic.
It happens most if I’m tense. Does anyone know why or have a similar experience??
I exist and that seems to be all I am doing these days. It makes me sad sometimes.

Try walking around with a blood pressure of 80 over 50 and let’s see how bouncy and fit YOU feel.
…M.E. was, until recently, called ‘atypical polio’. Only it’s name has changed. It remains a type of polio. Read more —>
